Connect LeadWise to Claude

Ask Claude about your pipeline, build segments and draft templates from a chat, with every change shown to you before it is made.

Connecting LeadWise to Claude lets you work with your workspace from a chat: "which deals closing this month have gone quiet", "build a segment of grocery category managers in Texas", "draft a three-step sequence for them". Claude works in LeadWise as you, sees only what you can see, and changes nothing without showing you first.

Before you start

  • A Claude plan that allows connectors. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector for the organization and members then connect their own account.
  • A LeadWise account. Your workspace admin can turn assistants off, or limit them to some roles, in Settings > Connected apps.
  • The connector address: https://app.getleadwise.ai/mcp

Add the connector in Claude

  1. 1

    Open connector settings

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. If LeadWise is listed in the connector directory, you can add it from there instead.

  2. 2

    Paste the address

Name it LeadWise and paste https://app.getleadwise.ai/mcp. Leave the advanced settings empty: Claude registers itself.

  3. 3

    Sign in to LeadWise

Choose Connect. A LeadWise window opens. Sign in if you are asked to.

  4. 4

    Choose what to share

The consent screen lists what Claude can see and what it can change. Everyday areas start ticked, sensitive ones such as billing and call recordings start unticked, and every kind of change starts unticked. Tick only what you want, then choose Allow access.

  5. 5

    Start asking

Back in Claude, LeadWise shows as connected. Ask "what can you do in LeadWise?" and Claude will check what this connection allows.

Using Claude Code
Run claude mcp add --transport http leadwise https://app.getleadwise.ai/mcp, then type /mcp inside Claude Code and choose LeadWise to sign in. The same consent screen opens in your browser.

What to ask

You want toAsk something like
Size an audience"How many VPs of purchasing at distributors do we have in California?"
Check the pipeline"How is this quarter looking by stage, and which deals have stalled?"
Prepare for a call"Give me everything on Fresh Organics: people, deals, recent activity."
Build a list"Create a segment of grocery buyers who opened an email last month."
Write outreach"Draft a three-step sequence for that segment, friendly and short."
Find new people"Find heads of procurement at US grocery chains and add the best five."

How changes work

If you allowed changes, Claude can create templates, sequences, segments, contacts, companies, deals and tasks. Each change happens in two steps. Claude first shows you a preview of exactly what it will do, and the change is made only after you agree. Nothing is created from the first step alone.

Some things always stay in LeadWise: deleting records, removing people from lists, importing files, connecting mailboxes, and changing billing, team or workspace settings.

Enrolling and scheduling send real email
Enrolling contacts in a sequence or scheduling one starts real sends from your mailbox. Read those previews carefully before you agree.

Change or remove access

Open Settings > Connected apps in LeadWise to see what Claude can do and to disconnect it, which takes effect at once. To give it more, disconnect and connect again, then tick more on the consent screen. Admins can see and disconnect every connection in the workspace and set rules for who may connect.

Claude says it could not register with the sign-in service

Check the address is exactly https://app.getleadwise.ai/mcp, then try again. If it keeps failing, email support@getleadwise.ai with the reference Claude shows.

Claude says it is not allowed to do something

Either this connection was not given that area, or your LeadWise role does not allow it. Ask Claude to check your access; it will say which. Reconnecting lets you tick more, within what your admin allows.

Does Anthropic train on my LeadWise data?

  • Read every preview before you agree to a change
  • Disconnect assistants you no longer use

Don't

  • Allow changes on a shared or demo account
  • Agree to an enrollment or schedule you have not read
